A downloadable game for Windows
In Jumpscare to Live, you'll play the role of a ghost who is trying to protect their living roommate from a person outside the house. Unfortunately, Roommate doesn't realize what danger lurks at his window, and thinks you're just tormenting him. Maybe he'll get the picture if you keep knocking things over? If it means keeping your poor, oblivious friend safe from harm, then it's worth trying!

We updated the demo to stop Killer from cheating, which makes the game a lot more fair. You'll have to download the game fresh though, but we hope you'll enjoy it if you do. 😀

Such a fun game! I love how wholesome Ghost is, and even after turning off jumpscares the game is suspensful and spooky.

I love the dialogue of the ghost and the animations. On my first play through, I was having so much fun exploring the house and doing the ghost tasks that I kept forgetting I had to keep an eye on roommate and would get a jumpscare when he would die. Totally fun experience.

We don't like RNG in this house, so we made sure you can do tasks even when Roommate isn't in the same room as Ghost. Like you noted, it'd be way too stressful otherwise.

We hadn't tested on a 4K screen yet, so we'll be taking a look at scaling options for our UI elements so they're still legible on larger screens.
Just so you know, when you hold Right-Click you can see through walls to see where Roommate and Killer are. That should help make keeping an eye on Roommate and Killer a lot easier. Thanks again and we're glad you enjoyed the game!

I found the concept of a ghost trying to scare his roommate in order to save him to be quite interesting and fun. I did not manage to complete the game as it is actually quite difficult to monitor the roommate and the antagonist at the same time while completing the tasks. I don't know why but I couldn't sense the antagonist when I right-clicked to sense the location of humans.
This was a fun horror game and the game had cool game mechanics. Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.
Thanks so much for giving it a go and sharing your video! While trying to detect the living, all the living look the same to Ghost. It's difficult to tell at a glance if you're looking at Roommate or the killer. This will be great feedback for us to keep in mind as we work on completing the game.
